Artist Statement:

Art gives everyone a chance to escape, to feel something different or to see the world in a different hue. For me, the creative process is the most important part. Creating art gives me a release for my pent-up energy, emotions and observations.

The furniture I create is sculptural, strong and beautiful. My lighting fixtures speak a narrative about contrast and intrest. I create sculpture that combines architectural and natural elements to tell a new story. I use recycled materials tp bring a history, a backstory, to an object.

I enjoy exposing the structure of furniture, celebrating the form and the function. I combine multiple elements - wood, metal, fiber, leather, glass or paper - to create a unique experience that make a connection with the viewer. My goal is to do something that has not been done before, to seek a new point-of-view and to look at the world around us in a new light.
